The Bicycle Music Festival is the largest 100% bicycle-powered music festival in the world. The free, all-day (and late into the night) event takes place annually in San Francisco, California on the Saturday closest to the summer solstice. This year the festival rolls on Saturday June 20, 2009.
Fossil Fool, the Bike Rapper (aka Paul Freedman) sends out the bike vibe through his rap, dedicating himself as a bike culture artist, musician, and social entrepreneur. He also contributes to Worldbike.org, a nonprofit developing low cost cargo bikes for poor countries.
