The community of Malpeque is situated on the central north coast of Prince Edward Island with rolling fields stretching down to the sea. Here, the oceanfront is made up of miles of white sand beaches – alternating with rugged red sandstone cliffs and miles of publicly owned sand islands.
Black and white holsteins dotting green pastures; standardbred mares minding their foals; farmers tending their crops. It is a location where the land meets the sea and all roads lead to the water.
At day’s end, the lobster boats return to their homeport at Malpeque. On a quiet evening it is said that you can hear world famous Malpeque oysters and cultered Island Blue Mussels growing in the bay!
